Thicklip grey mullet
The mullet (or mullet, mugle, mule, llisa, muble lisa, liza, albur, cabezudo, capitón, corcón or pardete)[citation needed] (Mugil cephalus) is a species of euryhaline fish in the family of mugilidae.
The mullet is an important fish that serves as food for many humans throughout the world. Its roe is tasted salted, dried, and compressed to make specialty foods around the world, such as Taiwanese wuyutsu, Korean myeongran jeot, Japanese karasumi, Italian botarga, and Egyptian batarekh.
