Cockles
Galician cockles are highly appreciated molluscs for their taste of the sea and they are also shellfish that provide us with a lot of protein and hardly any carbohydrates. The best way to taste this shellfish is steamed, since in this way we will maintain all its properties.
We recommend keeping the cockles in the same mesh in which we purchased them, since being tight together will prevent them from opening and thus preserve all that flavor of the sea they possess.
